we had a sydney/melbourne grand final last year. It would be nice to see 2 QLD teams in a final against each other. Coyboys v Titans, Titans v Broncos or Broncos v Coyboys. I'm betting on Titans v Broncos. The 2 QLD Rivals!

Ok... The Titans and Cowboys need to lift their play in Sydney if they have a chance at making the Grand Final. I would say Cowboys vs. Melbourne... only if the Cowboys play the Warriors, Broncos, Titans, Raiders or Knights in Sydney on the Semi Finals. Other then that, I would say Melbourne and Roosters?

injuries through the season will play a big part of who makes the GF, IE if thurston cops a season ending injury you can rule out the cowboys, and the sharks, well they couldn't buy a grand final, i think the storms honeymoon period is over, manly they got nothing as with the bunnies, raiders, knights, panthers, dragons, tigers, warriors and the dogys, so to me it comes down to the titans, broncos, roosters and the eels, so as a GF prediction il go with the:

EELS     vs       ROOSTERS, and the eels will win 30-6.

To answer your question i will list every teams chances.

1.Storm - definite chance to be there again, they have been very lucky the last couple of years without any major injuries, i wonder how they would go if smith or cronk was missing.

2. Manly - Top 8 only, still got a side to win enough games however lack the max factor like a Thurston or Prince.

3. Eels - started slow last two years, expect a mid year run that pushes them into top eight, still don't think they will make final.

4. Cowboys - all depends on Thurston, definite chance if he stays fit and makes it through the origin serious unscathed.

5. Warriors - can't win away from NZ. Top 8 is best finish.

6. Bulldogs - will miss 8, just don't have forward strength to match it when big games come around.

7. Rabbitohs - I think will finsih with wooden spoon. Expect a Craig Wing lead revival when he comes back about rd 16. I think will be to far back to cause any major drama but.

8. Broncos - Top 4, if Lockyer can get back and get some game time under his belt.

9. Titans - good chance for top 4 provided prince stays fit and they don't suffer with other injuries like towards the end of last year.

10. Dragons - bottom 4, players are already thinking about wayne bennett and 2009

11. Knights - top 8 but will bow out to a more experienced side.

12. Sharks - definite top 4/8 chance, have the forward grit to get job done and with stuart as coach they are well drilled. Poss Grand final contender.

13. Tigers - Top 8 only, all depends on Farah, forget Benji, Farah is the tigers go to man

14. Roosters - any side with a forward pack that they have a definit chance. definite top 4. poss grand final contender

15. Panthers - to up and down. will lose to rabbits one week then beat storm next week. not enough consistency to threaten top sides.

16. Raiders - can't win games away from canberra. have made 8 last few years when no one expected them to, wouldn't surprise if they did again but thats about it.

With all that info i think it will come from Storm, Cowboys, Roosters or Sharks. I will say it will be Cowboys v Sharks GF
