Had my nuchal test on the 11th with the ultrasound and bloodwork combined. Got my 3rd prenatal appt on Thursday. If they noticed any abnormalities IN MOST CASES would they have called me back by now? Or in most cases do you just find out at the next prenatal appt?

  1. The test won't show a def yes/no, will only show a 1 in smthg chance .... so it depends on whether your risk according to your age group increased or decreased!  Mine went from 1 in 250 to 1 in 2000, still a risk but less of one - I expect if yours had increased you would have almost certainly been contacted by now as you will be very close to missing the window of opp for a CVS test if you should choose to test further.  If you can't wait till Thurs call them, think its a bit poor of them NOT to have let you know one way or other anyway.

  2. If they were life threatening to you or your baby, they would have reached you but if its not then they would probably just wait. You can call your doctor just to make sure that they got the results and that your doctor has actually taken the time to look at it.

  3. Yes, they would have called you.

  4. i had my booking appointment a few weeks back and my midwife told me if you was in high risk they will send you a letter if low risk you don't hear anything, so i would have thought you would have heard something by now so i wouldn't worry

  5. yes , they would had called you
