  1. do some research on the 2 city's where atom bombs were actually exploded, Hiroshima & nagasaki in Japan.

both citys were quickly rebuilt & people continued to live in the homes that werent burned down by the atom bomb. they have a rememberance ceremony at ground zero in in the middle of downtown Hiroshima every year.

you can also visit the site near alamogordo New Mexico where the first atom bomb was tested & buy  pieces of glass at souvenir shops around the area that were produced when the bomb melted the sand under the test tower.

this site used to be open all year but I think its only open in september now because of fewer visitors. atom bomb test sites are not as popular as they used to be so it doesnt pay to have tourist guides there all year.

  2. as was said, both Hiroshima and Nagasaki....your Mitsubishi car was built in NAgasaki.are thriving cities with people happily and healthly living right on top of where the bombs went off......

so it depends on how big a bomb and how close you are when it goes off.....the big Russian "city buster" bombs..which didnt go away when the cold war ended by the way..will kill everyone within about 5 miles and poison everyone within ten.......

the big problem in an all out nuclear exchange.....like between the US and Russia in the Cold War or Chian and Russia if they fight over Siberia...is that so much dust and smoke from fires........imagine all of California burning from 10 bomb blasts.....gets in the air that sunlight is reflected back and the world cools off......google "nuclear winter".......and we all starve to death because nothing grows

  3. The nuclear bomb would probably kill everything. If not by the sheer force  of the explosion, than the radiation would  kill the rest. But that is how the earth was formed ,so in a couple of billion/million/hundred  years the area would be hospitable to life again.

  4. It really depends on the type of bomb. There are devices that are designed to destroy everything, and there are devices that are designed to leave buildings and other structures intact.  But no matter what type of bomb is dropped, human and animal life will cease to exist within a certain range of the weapon. They say the cockroach can survive but who really knows for sure.

  5. The hardiest creatures are likely to be insects (specifically cockroaches) and bacteria. It is often said that the only things that would exist after the holocaust are roaches and gaffer tape.

    I second that emotion!

  6. you cannot build any protection against this. only a a grave of lead or something like this. is mortal for everything that has life: plants, animals, humans, etc. and of course all the material things that surround us, cars, houses, all kinda of things. no one can live after such thing. only with insupportable diseases because of the radiations. look at documentaries about Hiroshima ,,,,, really informative.

  7. Yes, anything can live.  Just go to Hiroshima or Nagasaki, both are thriving cities.

  8. only cockroaches and politicians and lawyers will be left

  9. i think cocoaroches can live through a nuclear bomb, but we would all die and so would everything else.

  10. There has been nuc  bombs used already if you didnt know.
