Even the US says that, INDIA can't continue nuclear tests once they sign the pact. And if they violate, all supplies will be revoked. But the Indian government is still adament about going on with the deal. Why ??? Have they taken big money to keep to their promise.

How can we as the citizens of INDIA stop if it is truely selling our nation to US.

  1. We need the sand and it couldn't hurt to get a few Camels..I'm a better man than you are Gunga Din..

  2. We must stop India from becoming another puppet of the Americans. Don't let them take our mother country!

  3. The US wants legitimacy for its anti nuclear proliferation policies (which involves wanting to invade various countries).

Nuclear technology is well undersood and in fact have nuclear supplies, knowledge and experience (even for non weaponary nuclear use) will mean that a country can quickly build nuclear weapons.

Ask yourself this, Japan, with its many Nuclear reactors might be threatened by the Nuclear power of china. in a crisis Japan could probably build nuclear weapons in a reasonably short time (usually war is proceeded by years of tensions).

So basically this policy only makes India appear to be a good citizen, but as long as they don't do things publicly, there will be no real issue.

Certainly it would make India a leader in its area.

But India is a democracy and you want to change things. Do so by contacting your local parlimentary representatives (not the prime minister) and express your view. These people will then put pressure on the prime minister.

  4. personally, i think the USA should take over the whole world

  5. Don't see how the US can cut India off since the majority of their reactors are CANDU reactors from Canada

  6. 'Nuclear Deal' is not selling of ' fruit orchard to the merchant'. It is true, when one enters in any ' Deal' with a person one has to follow certain rules. At the same time ownership remains with the owner.
