  1. splitting colliding smashing an atom= nuclear reaction

    energy produced by nuclear reaction

  2. we need more nukes

  3. Energy contained in atoms.Like the ships in the sea.

  4. look at Chernobyl

  5. Nuclear power plants, submarines, navy ships, bombs.

I'm very pro nuclear power.  People who don't like it either don't know enough about it or are just idealists.

  6. When a cell divides, it uses energy to increase the DNA and proteins associated with that nucleus. Once all cell components are doubled, the cell divides and each cell gets it's own nucleus. Since the DNA is essentially the "brains" of the cell, it was the original source of the cells energy. This nuclear energy does not require millions of gallons of water to cool it's core, does not produce any unsafe waste products and does not generally require burial miles from anything else.

  7. The only examples that come to mind are atomic explosions and atomic powerplants, whether large like on land or small like powering a ship.  The principal is the same in each.

  8. nuclear power plants like the ones in the simpsons lol.

don't use them they are horrible for the environment!!!!!

  9. The heat given off by the radioactive decay of plutonium is used to power deep space probes who travel so far from the sun that solar cells don't provide sufficient power.

  10. it would be the energy contained within atoms. aka the force that holds protons and electrons together.

  11. The United States Navy uses nuclear energy to power most of their ships at sea.   It is a very reliable, clean and safe source of power for their submarines, aircraft carriers and  cruisers.
