  1. Taken directly out from my research paper...

    I completely doubt that you could not find any information regarding the two biggest nuclear plant incidents in history.  They are always used when the argument comes out that nuclear plants are not safe, though they clearly are.

    Wikipedia actually has a pretty good description of both accidents.

  2. TMI is in Pennsylvania.  Chernobyl is in the Ukrane.  Not sure what your question is, but both had major problems.

    Three Mile Island is in the Susquehanna River near Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, U.S.  It's actually three miles downriver from Middletown so they called it three mile island.

    Chernobyl is a small town in the Ukraine about one-hundred ten kilometers ( 68 miles) north of Kiev, the capital  city. It is near the Belarus border.
