  1. The Simpsons:)

  2. Wind is cleaner, with no hazards.

    Nuclear  --  Chyernoble

  3. wind power much safer however it is limited because you never know when you will get enough wind in the area to power them.

nuclear has some dangers to it but you can always rely on a constant source of electricity coming from it.

both are clean sources, its only up to how much demand the electricity is in and where - geographically , you are located.

  4. Nuclear power is like a plane compared to a car.

Overall nuclear power is much, much safer than a lot of other things (especially our oil); but when things do go wrong a lot of people die.

Wind power is not as reliable (got to wait for the wind), but people don't die if it breaks down.

Although, both solar and wind power are getting to be much better in reliability because we are developing energy storage "batteries."  When the wind is good or the sun is up, these batteries charge up; so that when clouds block the sun or the wind dies down we still have energy on standby in the charged up batteries.

  5. wind power, primarily because of the toxic waste. ever heard of the incident at Three Mile Island? you should look it up. also, people are finding ways to make wind power  much more efficient. you should do some research on wind power.

  6. wind power

    more positive affect

  7. Nuclear power is accessible and cost-effective right now, and is extremely safe.  A disaster like Chernobyl isn't possible with modern reactor designs.  The Three-Mile Island incident is barely even worthy of comment; not a single person died or even received a harmful dose of radiation.  Waste disposal is also a non-issue.  Caves in the American southwest provide nearly endless capacity with no chance of leaking into groundwater.

Wind turbines are expensive to build, and don't offer particularly high power output, but they are ultimately the cleaner technology.

If you couldn't tell, I'm all for nuclear power.  I'm for wind power as well, but it's currently not as effective a solution as nuclear power.
