  1. Yes, I have and thought it was stunning. Theres many new villas being built in the region but Nuevo Portil is an extension of El Portil which has shops small super markets restaurants cafes bars etc. Huelva is the main city in the area which is 20 mins away.

The area is absolutley ideal for couples, golfers and families alike who prefer to get away from the madding crowd and appreciate the ‘real’ traditional Spain, from there I'd say you're around 1hr drive from Faro or Seville.

There are beautiful golden sand beaches in Nuevo Portil. Its a lovely area.  Once on the beach you can walk for 10km in either direction, with the majority of the beach protected by natural pine forests and sand dunes. The sea is protected by the 'El Rompido' sand barrier which stretches for 3km, offering a natural marina and calm waters for water sports. Whilst the beach is stunning, you will also  find good quality restaurants along the coast road.

I'm sure you'll have a great time ther- all the very best of luck for a lovely holiday!
