Question:

Numark dm1002 mk2? Help please!?

Ok so i have a numark dm1002 and i just ran out of like warrantee or whatever but i can't take it back either way. I need help because the middle fader doesnt completely cut out like it should when i switch the sides is it a solder joint or what? if you could help that would be AMAZING! thanks!

  1. The fader is probably worn out, but you might try cleaning it with some good contact cleaner first:

  2. You need to replace the crossfader! This is a very common thing to do, if you look at it, you may see that the fader is separate, and screwed into place. If this is the case, you can unscrew the screws on either side and pull it out. Then you can investigate which type of crossfader you need, and get a replacement (May be easiest to ask at a dj shop).

    If it's not got the screws on either side of it, you might need to take off the front of the mixer, look up the manual on the internet if you don't have it, there should be a way to do it without tooo much hassle.
