Number of nucleus in muscle cells?

I was wondering if muscle cells contain more than one nucleus, and if only some do.

I know that three types of mucle are skeletal, cardiac, and smooth, and I want to know if they have different number of nucleus in each cell.

Striated/skeltal muscle cells have multiple nuclei per cell.  A cell that has multiple nuclei is called a syncytium (sin-sish`-e-um).

Skeletal muscle cells are a true syncytium,  Cardiac cells, although mononucleated, work in such unison with each other, the entire heart muscle is considered a syncytium.

no, a cell only has one nucleus, unless you have cancer, i think.
