I looking to call into work sick today, I sprained my wrist this past weekend and I have a typing job, I know that to call in sick for so many days you need a note from the doctor. I'm just looking to see which is more typical out there and find out if i need to stop by the doctor so he can say i did indeed sprain my wrist. Its either "more than 3 days", or "3 or more days"

  1. It is generally three or more days from what I have experienced.  So you might want to stop by a doctors office.  The best thing for you to do is to get a doctors note and then go to work as they will have to accommodate you with your injury or send you home.  I don't know if your sick days are grouped with your other time off, but you may be burning up time that you could otherwise use.
