Numerology?

Question

Do you think it's as accurate as Astrology's been said to be?

I don't understand how being born with a certain name could do something with your personality AND for compatiblity...

And I don't really like the idea. :/

What of you change your name? Could that change anything about your personality?

Numerology is much more accurate then Astrology.  We all vibrate to different frequencies, I think Jung gave you a good example in their explanation.

Each letter in the alphabet vibrates differently and if you were to change you name you it does take time, but differences in your personality will soon follow. When dealing with numerology you use both your birth date and full name.

I personally think Astrology is much more accurate. I was born on October 23 a cusp and numerology says my personality number is 5. The number 5 is nothing like me. Also my life path number is 6 and my life's nothing like how it says my it is supposed to be. Astrology doesn't run your life, it just tells you about yourself. Numerology however is telling me I should live my life the 6 way.

Edit - Numerology is only your life path, personality, your expression number, soul urge, etc. It has many things but Astrology is much much more complicated. There are the houses in Astrology and Planets. There is more to astrology than most people think.

Most people think that their only sign is their sun sign but their is so much more to it than that. That's why some people don't seem like their sun sign.

Take a look at Hitler, his personality number was 2 and his life path number was 5. He was supposed to lead a life of freedom and expression. I suppose he did, but his personality number says he was supposed to be peaceful and he was far from it.

Good question. If you change your name or even one or 2 letters in your name will demand a certain concentration and energy to do it.

Try signing your name but changing one letter and you will see how much effort it takes to do. Eventually, you will get used to it and do it systematically.

In numerology, many people change certain letters so that the number corresponds to a better number and it works.

As much as it takes effort to change, you are also forcing your character to adopt to this new signature. So yes, by changing letters in it, you are changing some traits and new doors may very well open up to you.

edit... I have been in Astrology for 15 years also.But we are controled by number no matter how you slice the cake. Social Insurance Number, Driver's Licence, Money, your address etc..etc... Numerology has its place here and i have tested changing one letter only and by god, it worked and have been signing my name for years with this new configuration.
