  1. Munich!  It's big, it's beautiful, it has a great train line, it has the beautiful walking plaza, great stores, great restaurants.

Nuremberg!  It has a friendly, more town-like atmosphere, a cheaper cost of living than Munich, and there are many foreigners living there.  It's very family-oriented as well.

I would say for a single person, Munich is better and Nuremberg is better for a family.  Both cities offer much to see and do, Nuremberg being very historic, though both cities had the h**l bombed out of them in World War II.

I would say you would have to spend time in both to see where you would feel most at home.  A large city like Munich is always better for a sense of excitement and being in the center of everything - it depends on what you personally want.

  2. Frankfurt or nothing!

  3. Depends on what you want, I have been to both. Munich is a big city, Nuremberg isn't, so there ya go. City or rural?

  4. Nuremberg.

Rents in Munich are ridicously expensive. It is so bad that many people drive up to 2 hours to and from work in Munich just so that they can afford a place to sleep.

  5. If I need to choose I say Munich, but there is so expensive. Nuremberg and Munich both in the state of Bavaria. Munich is bigger. Living in Munich you need to earn over $50.000 in a year and be single.

  6. Both are very nice places to live Munich is much bigger though and a lot more things to do.

Nürnberg is very nice but much smaller than Munich up to you what you prefere.
