Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has hinted that his club could make a move for the former player in the upcoming summer transfer window

club and is now raring to prove himself in the English premier league.
The player started his time with Liverpool well and was a standout performer in his first few games. But his form fell in the next few fixtures and since then he has been warming the benches.

“Nuri is one of ours and we're closely monitoring his situation. The problem in Liverpool is he is not playing in his best position,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The sporting director further clarified that the club would only want to go for the Turkey international if he wants a permanent move to the Signal Iduna Park. He added that the club is still realistic and will not prefer a loan
move for their former player.
“We have previously said that we might make a move if he says he only wants to play at Dortmund. We have to remain realistic, though. Nothing has changed in that regard,” he concluded.
Nuri Sahin played for Borussia Dortmund for six years from 2005-2011. The 24-year-old made 135 league appearances for the current German champions and scored 13 times in the process. He led the Germans to the Bundesliga title in
2011 courtesy some brilliant performances and attracted huge interest from some of the top teams in Europe.
