After a tumultuous start to life in the Spanish capital, the former Borussia Dortmund start promised to come good on his talents in his second season at the Santiago Bernabeu.

on his situation.
Responding to the transfer speculations and his future with Real Madrid, Sahin dismissed all reports that he would be leaving Madrid in the near future. He admitted that the season did not go as planned and attributed his failure to getting more games under
his best to his injury problems.
Nonetheless, Sahin claimed that he wants to be a success at the Santiago Bernabeu and very well understand the fact that it will not be easy.
He added that very few players have managed to cement themselves in the heart of Madridista in their first year, and revealed that he is looking optimistically towards the upcoming campaign to make his mark in the hearts of Los Blancos faithful.
"Unfortunately, this was not a very good season for me, because of the injuries that I sustained," he said while talking to Sky Sport Italia.
"But to have success at Real Madrid is not easy at all, specially in your first year. But I am convinced that next season will be my season.”
