The Turkish midfielder has expressed his desire to remain at the Spanish capital despite being allowed little time on the pitch.
Real Madrid’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nuri-Sahin-c28251 insists that he wants to stay at his current club and has downplayed all rumours and reports which suggest that the player is linked with a move away from the Blancos.
Sahin was signed by Madrid prior to the start of the 2011-2012 campaign from German Bundesliga champions, Borussia Dortmund. The summer transfer window saw the player make his dream move as he was brought over to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Before joining Los Merengues, Sahin was an important member of the Dortmund squad. The central midfielder proved to be more than instrumental in the German side’s triumph over the German Bundesliga.
Remarkably, the Turkey international was named the ‘Player of the Year’ in the Bundesliga during the 2010-2011 season. He was also rated as one of the most promising talents across Europe and it was vivid that the player would make a good name for himself
in the Spanish La Liga.
However, luck was not too kind to the technically gifted footballer. Before he could debut for his new club, the player suffered an injury and his fitness issues kept him sidelined before he could even make his first competitive appearance for Jose Mourinho’s
men.
The fact that the player is injury prone kept him out for a dominant part of the season.
Even after regaining his fitness, the player failed to make the impact he was expected to make with the Spanish giants.
In the presence of players such as Mesut Ozil, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamit-Altintop-c15652 and Lassana Diarra, all of which are midfielders, it was very difficult for Sahin to find a spot in the regular line-up of the newly crowned champions

Hence, a number of reports suggested that the player may be on his way to a new club.
However, the player himself has emphasized his desire to stay on at Los Vikingos.
While talking to reporters, the Turk was quoted as saying:
“It is one of the best clubs in the world, and for this reason I do not see why I should go. I have no intention of leaving."
Currently Sahin is a Real Madrid player and is enjoying his vacation as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Turkey-c3026 failed to qualify for the Euro 2012.
