i am a nurse who is being sponsored by a health care facility. They filed an i-140 for me. My i-94 will expire this september. I am also a 245i illegible or i have the priviledge to claim a petition though i am out of status because of a prior petition from my grandfather. I just have to pay 1,000 dollars as a penalty.

Here are my questions: ( i need personal opinions and expert advice.. hence, everybody is welcome to answer)

1. Should i go home though there are humors that the visa are coming out soon? I heard that I cant come back or enter the US in short time or less than a year? I have a multiple visa - is that true?

2. Can I change my status to sudent visa even if i have applied for an i-140 to prolong my stay?

  1. stop coming to America and letting the hospitals use you as slaves and run RN's pay into the ground. GO HOME! and take care of your own people in your own country who need nurses. Im sure you get paid squat here and you cause the American nurses pay to go down.
