has anyone got any experience in working abroad as a nursery nurse. im thinkin of working for a travel company as a child rep and later workin in a private nursery.

I would love to hear about your experiences and how much you got payed (im not doin it for the money lol). Also how you got the job and do you have to do the training a normal rep does since i wil be working with children so i would hav all the qualifications and training as im doing my level 3.

  1. I've been looking into child rep for different companies and found different reviews about it but mainly most companies are offering basic rates, long hours - not just working with the kids and doing general rep work on top of the child rep role. Apart from that its invaluable experience and opportunity to gain insight to other cultures and langauges.

Most of the companies provided certificated training, though most of them take their reps on in May to October. If there is a specific place that you are wanting to work ie america, europe etc I would check the companies that cater there. Though watch out for the companies that pay in the local currency as the conversation from euro to £ or $ makes it a lot less depending on the rate being offered.

Nursery nurse - are you thinking of working abroad or in the UK/USA? Again the conversation rate may lower the wage (or it could make it more worth while) and it depends where you plan on working. Theres also companies that offer the opportunity to study abroad whilst working as a live in au pair (aupairamerica) and Sabis have various nurseries based in eygpt etc
