  1. We have the Vicks Warm Mist Humidifier. It is great! because you can put medicine in it. My daughter got a cold 2 days ago and she couldn't sleep because she couldn't breath through her nose. We hooked up the Vicks Humidifier and 2 hours later she was able to sleep. Her nose has been running which means that it is working because she's not all congested. We didn't put medicine in it.. but knowing we have that option is good. And as far as I can tell this humidifier does not have a filter, which is great because that means less cleaning and less places for bacteria to build up. (I don't know what the difference between warm and cool is, but this doesn't put off warm air or anything so..)

    Good luck!

  2. The safest would be the air purifier because they can pick up the smallest germs and bacteria now a days that it will help keep your baby healthy and it will help him/her sleep and breath better also. A vaporizer would only be needed if they have a lot of problems with congestion. Make sure to clean the filter as often as possible to keep the purifier working as well as it should!
