  5. If you are wanting this to use for a child that you are close to, then try making up some of your own using the child's name.  When I had my first child, I knew NO nursery rhymes or songs.  Every time I tried to learn them, I got the words messed up so I started making up my own using my daughters name, pets names, family members names and she loved them.  I then wrote them down and put them in a scrap book for her when she gets older.  It seemed easier to remember the ones that I made up then to remember the ones that were already written.  Plus if I made them up, I could change them as much as I wanted.  Good luck.

    Little Jack Horner

    Sat in the corner,

    Eating his Christmas Pie.

    He put in his thumb,

    And pulled out a plumb,

    And said,

"What a good boy I am."

His wife could eat no lean,

    And so betwixt them both

    you see, they licked the

    Platter clean.

    (spelling ??)

    deedle deedle dumpling

    my son John

    went to bed with his

    stockings on

one shoe off and one shoe on

    deedle deedle dumpling

    my son John

Twinkle, twinkle, little star, how I wonder what you are?

Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky

When the blazing sun is gone, when he nothing shines upon,

Then you show your little light, twinkle, twinkle all the night.

Then the traveller in the dark, thanks you for your tiny spark,

He could not see which way to go, if you did not twinkle so.

In the dark blue sky you keep, and often through my curtains peep,
