My neck glands were swollen last week- due to my wisdom tooth which iam getting removed next week.

the doctor gave me anti inflamitries which got rid of the glands in my neck but now i think the ones behind my knees are swollen, cud it be that my knee is reacting to my wisdom tooth too my arm and groin ones are not swollern

  1. I don't think they are related.  I have not heard of such.


  2. There really is no connection between the two.

    but if you feel very concerned , you can make a point of mentioning this to your doctor.

    But there's really nothing to worry about.

  3. Although we call them "glands," they are actually lymph nodes (say: limf nohdz), and they contain clusters of immune system cells. Normally, lymph nodes are small and round and you don't notice them. But when they're swollen, it means your immune system is at work

    Beside your neck, where else do you have lymph nodes? Behind your knees, in your armpits, and in your groin — just to name a few .

    Definitely, the glands in your neck would react to an abscessed tooth.wisdom. And it's also possible to get this swelling under your arms and behind your knees.
