Nursing Bra Recommendations?

Question

I'm a brand new mom and am quickly realizing that I need more than 2 nursing bras! Can anyone recommend a good brand? I'm a size 34C, if that makes a difference - so not a huge fit. Just really comfortable, supportive (and cute, if possible...for my husband!)

If you live in the U.S., I would recommend going to Motherhood Maternity, or one of the nicer department stores such as J.C. Penny or Macy's.  There, they will measure and fit you for a nursing bra, and they have a much better selection than Wal-Mart and cheaper stores.  Also, I found cheap nursing bras to be itchy, fall apart quickly, and the nipple slit would sit way to the side of my breast.

You have already had your baby, and are a 34C now, correct?  It would be a good idea to get a few larger cup sizes, and possibly even a bra in your pre-pregnancy cup size.  The size of your b*****s will change as your milk supply regulates; they may get bigger than a C cup, or smaller as your baby nurses less.

Target has awesome nursing tank tops with built-in support.  s**y?  Maybe not, but they sure are practical for the early days, when you are nursing your baby very frequently.

While I know you asked about nursing bras, I agree about the nursing tanks from Target. They don't flatter me at all cause I'm a 36A so it flattens me out sadly. But I bought 5 of the tanks, one in every color they have. I wear them all the time and to sleep. My son loves his boobies and sometimes I think he wants to nurse for comfort. So I always need to be able to pop them out quickly.

Honestly I find bra fitting is just so personal.

I suggest you try Sears and Walmart.  They tend to have at least 3-4 styles (sad I know that that is a "good selection") and at a decent price ($20ish -Canadian).  Otherwise try motherhood maternity.
