Nursing in care homes in Australia?

Could i still get a skilled migration visa as a nurse if i wanted to work within a care home as opposed to a hospital?

Or is it only hospital nurses that can get get the skilled visas?

  1. I can get you work at least 5 different aged care homes today, as a nurse. there is so much work here you can do, we do have a shortage of nurses in the aged care sector, and a high and increasing demand for such workers so come down here and help us out. the pay and conditions are good as well.


  2. They need nurses, it does'nt matter in what field you work! so long as your a nurse.

  3. Look at the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) on our immigration website. That lists every type of nursing position that qualifies together with the points you earn for it for the points test.
