  1. Unless you have a contract, you can be fired for anything or nothing in most jurisdictions.


  2. it is called insubordination and is a terminate-able offense with "just cause" (no unemployment) with or without a contract.

    "two wrongs don't make a right"

    raising your voice and refusing to do as a supervisor ask is not mitigated by the supervisor being wrong.
