I am 13 years old and 5'1. i am short for my age and i will always be short. the doctor said i am almost done growing i have about a half an inch left.im not too fat but i am about 120 pounds(my adult weight) i cant gain anymore, but i just keep gaining more weight. for about three years now my mom has gone health crazy. we exercise everyday. we have no junk food what-so-ever at home. i think its gone to far because my mom says a half a sandwitch on whole weat bread for lunch is unhealthy. we thought i would have lost some weight by now but i haven't. i've just kept gaining. im sick of it.my grandmother is slightly bigger and they tell me i take after her- so we are doing my best to make me not nd up like her. would it be okay to try nutrisystem in this situtaion? i am pretty much done growing. thanks (;

  1. Not all doctors are 100 per cent accurate. I have seen many teenagers grow 3 - 5 inches between the ages 13-19. So long as you are eating healthily and following an energetic exercise program throughout the year, you should be constantly growing. Avoid heavy weights training; dumb bells are enough. Be optimistic and watch your growth over the next 6 years. Cheers!

  2. i wouldnt go and spend the money on it cause its not realy for kids but dont forget muscle weighes more than fat so if your well muscled then that is one reason why u cant realy lose weight and also if you cant lose weight then that means your body is ok with u bein that way
