  1. nutrients from digested food moves from the small intesine to the blood and then to different body organs and extra food is stored in in the liver in the form of GLYCOGEN

    hope this will help u

  2. The bloodstream

  3. Nutrients from the digestion of food are absorbed in folding in the small intestine called villi.

    The products of protein digestion (amino acids) and carbohydrate digestion (glucose) are absorbed directly into a network of capillaries in the villus.

    The products of lipid/fat digestion (glycerol and fatty acids)are absorbed into tiny lymphatic vessels in the villi called lacteals.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Our circulatory system;

    Blood, which has absorbed nutrients, is carried away from the small intestine via the hepatic portal vein and goes to the liver.  There it is filtered, toxins are removed, and nutrients are processed.

    MORE INFO:

    Most of our nutrient absorption takes place in the small intestine.  Changes in the acid level cause more enzymes to become activated.  These enzymes act upon our food in order to split apart the molecular structure of the various nutrients.  The goal is to make them small enough so they can be absorbed into the circulatory or lymphatic systems.

    This process is accomplished because of the design of our small intestine wall.  Nutrients pass through the small intestine's wall, which contains small, finger-like structures called villi, each of which is covered with even smaller hair-like structures called microvilli.

    Some food products are unable to go through the villi, things like cellulose (dietary fiber). These are combined with other waste products and are eliminated from the body (the old fashioned way).
