Nutrious recipe for a toddler?

At school we are having a party type thing for the preschool class are Child Care teaches. We are looking for nutrious snack recipes that the children would like. I am getting graded on the recipe so I need it to be something a little more complex then ex) cellary and peanut butter.

  1. Here's something that my toddler loves!

    sweet grapes (sliced in halves)

    sweet apples (sliced in easy-to-eat bites)

    low-fat plain vanilla yogurt

    Just put them altogether!

    And top it with:

    honey coated walnuts (you can prepare this ahead of time!)

    This quick and easy-to-make dish is a great source of calcium and will help you jumpstart your morning!

    Prep time: 5 minutes

    Ingredients:

    3/4 c. light fruit -flavored yogurt

    1 tbsp. raisins

    1 tbsp. sunflower seeds

    1/3 c. strawberries

    Directions:

    Mix all ingredients in a plastic cup.

    Serves: 1

    Serving size: approximately 1 1/4 cup

    2. Wiggly fruit squares

    Ingredients:

    3 packages (3-oz. size) of sugar-free gelatin in your favorite flavor

    4 envelopes unflavored gelatin

    1-2 c. of chopped fruit or 1 8-oz. can fruit in natural juices (drained)

    4 c. of water

    Directions:

    Empty packets of flavored and unflavored gelatin into a bowl.

    In a separate microwave-safe container, heat 2 cups of water in microwave for 3 minutes. (Careful! It will be HOT!)

    Add hot water to powder and mix until completely dissolved.

    Now add 1 cup of cold water to measuring cup and add ice cubes until the water reaches the 2-cup mark. Pour the ice water into the dissolved gelatin mixture and stir until all the ice is dissolved.

    Now pour the entire mixture into the baking pan.

    Add chopped fruit by sprinkling it over the whole pan.

    Place the pan in the refrigerator and leave until everything hardens (usually 2-3 hours).

    Remove from refrigerator and cut into squares with dull knife or shapes with cookie cutters.

    Makes: 12

    Serving size: 3"x3" square (will vary if cookie cutters are used)
