  1. The fines are basically nothing, rarely do officers pull someone over for this offense so don't worry about this, but still don't do it. They allow use of them for hands free cell phone talking while driving, and even the motorcycle helmet I own had built in stereo speakers, a heads up display, gps, etc etc. So relax. Happy New Year too.

  2. The fine is $100.00

The problems are that you can and could cause an accident or you will not be able to hear, for example an emergency vehicle, hitting something or someone.

  3. yes fines

  4. just dont do it!

  5. The 1st time they usually won't do anything if you show them that you now have a handsfree kit. Second time you will get hit with a fine of up to $100. I don't know about after your second time. You should learn by then. Also if you plead not guilty you may get out of it if the cop doesn't show up to court. It's worth a try.

  6. I'm not sure what the fine is, but it is incredibly dangerous.  It cuts you off from outside noises that are very important to saftey, such as ambulances, police sirens, car horns etc.

I know i didnt really answer your question, but it's illegal because it's really dangerous, not just some silly law.
