Nylon guitar strings?

Is it easier to learn to play guitar with nylon strings? Or is better just to build up the callus?

Its certainly easier to learn on a classical accoustic with nylon strings. If you feel too much pain on steel strings, it may be the best place to start.

Depends on the type of the guitar you'll be playing. If it's acoustic, start w/ nylon. You will learn the basics, then you can move up to steel. If you want to play electric more, than you need to start with steel.

it's better to build up caluses i remember when i first was learning to play chords it hurt so bad but in the end it was worth it
