  1. before I will say he sold out I will have to see what happens...but I have wondered why he would do it this way...

    always nosnod

  2. How is that selling out?

John McCain's speech will be the highlight of the evening no matter what.  The Obama interview will be earlier.  If anything, the Obama interview will contrast with the McCain speech and show those watching that Obama is NOT the man for the Oval Office!

    Don't sweat it!

  3. Who cares what O'Reilly is doing? He's an unqualified raving lunatic on the most biased "news" station in the country. Everything he says and does is spoonfed to him by Murdoch and the rest of those nuts.

  4. I don't. He'll be done by the time McCain speaks. Obama needed to go on there and Bill needs to be tougher than most of the media has been to this point on Obama's past.

  5. O'Reilly is a closet Lib.

  6. Nope; more like Obama picked a night that is strategically advantageous to him.  What better way to pre-but McCain on his big night?

Considering Obama had promised several months ago to appear on O'Reilly's show, the timing is more than a little suspicious.  I doubt it will help Obama, but he's welcome to try.  At least he's keeping one promise, if a little late.

  7. He is just trying to report the news. We all know that it was a ploy by Obama to take away from the RNC, but then again, it could very easily backfire upon Obama.

If Obama goes in there thinking he will be treated like he does with his left wing media friends, then he is in for a rude awakening.

O'Reilly won't stand for Obama's spin, which is everywhere. Obama will have to get his act together and be ready to answer the tough questions that no one else will ask.

If Obama doesn't come through, then Republicans prosper further.

Plus, nothing can take away from the riled up crowd. Republicans are going crazy. The worst Obama can do is damper some of the earlier speeches, but by the time McCain comes on, a full 2 hours after O'Reilly's program, Obama will be history and Republicans will be back in the spotlight UNLESS Obama does extremely well or extremely bad.

  8. THE APPEARENCE BY B. HUSSEIN OBAMA IS BETWEEN 8 & 9 PM. I HOPE O'REILLY HAMMERS HIM WITH TOUGH QUESTIONS.

  9. Not at the same time and its pre recorded, with only approved questions allowed.

Oh and how did he sell out? He isnt a Republican or Democrat.

  10. Um was Bill O'Reilly hood or something before? I dont see how him having a presidential candidate on his show makes him a sell-out. He often has people who he dissapproves of on the show in order to try and "get" them and also to get ratings. The news is all about ratings.

  11. No....he's been dying to disect Obama for months..... This is a critical show for Obama....

    In O'Rielly I trust....

It may be recoreded and played long after the speech...I don't think it matters either way....Palin delivered !

    Slim

  12. I think it is more Obama needs to go into unfriendly territory. Most of the people polled feel that they are sick of the media giving Obama such high praise. I give him credit for going to the no spin zone.

The media MSNBC and CNN have been so hostile to the republicans, that it makes Obama lose some street cred.

  13. No remeber O'Reily claims to be an "independent" on the "Fair and Balance" Fox New station.  He's voting for Ron Paul.

  14. I will be watching CSPAN. If I want to see NObama on O'Reilly they will run it again. He never answers anything anyway, so why watch.
