O'brian Ambush 143 wakeboard any good? good bindings to go with it?

  1. I would say it is a decent beginner's wakeboard for someone 175lbs or up.  So far as bindings, it depends if only one person is going to use it or if it will be shared board.  If it is shared I would go with an adjustable binding that will fit a variety of foot sizes like one of these:

    If only one person is going to use the board any of the mid-high level bindings from any of the major companies would work good (Liquid Force, CWB, Obrien, Hyperlite, Ronix, Gator Boards)  I would recommend that you buy bindings made within the last couple of years because there have been a lot of advancements in the comfort of bindings and ease of entry.  Also if possible try find a board shop and try on a couple of different bindings to get a feel for the different styles.
