Because people tend to care more about animals than people. Dont get me wrong....I think they should all be locked up for life, but ..maybe that's just me.

I'm not sure what your question is, but the explanation is because our legal system isn't based on what the media reports, but rather a complex system of judgment that weighs the facts and evidence -- not the hype -- in an effort to get a conviction. O.J. had a trial, and 12 of his peers determined that he could not be held accountable beyond a reasonable doubt. It has nothing to do with how sensationalized the media makes it, or what their given crime was, but rather the evidence presented and a myriad of other factors that make a final verdict.

I guess Micheal Vick just needed a better lawyer. Money can get you anything nowadays. I heard Micheal Vick is broke now so, he probably just couldn't afford a better lawyer which is why he didn't get off like everyone else.

The word is supposedly.  OJ was tried and found not guilty.  Kobe's accuser refused to testify, so there was no trial.  Michael Vick tortured dogs to death and admitted it.
