My local stations are going digital. I have a Sansui with a digital tuner.

Local channel, for instance has 9.2 digital on its website. Channel 9 on analog tv.

How do i get channel 9.2 on my tv????\

Pulling my hair out trying to get it to work>

  1. Assuming you scanned all channels after you connected your antenna, your remote should have a "." or "-" key.

    Press 9-2 or 9.2. Alternatively, at 9, press Ch+, it should go to the next digital channel.


  2. First, I assume your are connected to an antenna (not cable or satellite).  You already said you have a digital tuner, that's good.  

    Make sure the tuner is set for "Air" not "cable" and have your TV scan for channels.  You should find all the digital channels in your area.

  3. It is whatever your cable or satellite provider tells you it should be.  Some cable and satellite providers use numbers different than the ones the actual stations use.  Sometimes its just because you have an old tuner.  You can't get 9.2 on your tv but you can get 9 or 92 or whatever your cable provider uses for that channel based on the tuner you use.
