El & Cookie are correct, and I sometimes even call Ebay/Paypal to ask them about it.

it is called phishing email and is bad news meant for someone to fraudulently access your paypal account - if you click on the link in the email it will lead you somewhere other than the real paypal, allowing the evildoers to get  your password....etc. Never respond to phisher emails. Ppl also send them saying they are from Ebay and other places so be very careful. Paypal and Ebay always put your full name on anything they email to you.

IF  YOU ARLEADY CLICKED ON THE LINK, CHANGE YOUR PAYPAL PASSWORD IMMEDIATELY.

its not really from paypal, its a scam forward the letter to [e-mail]

don't do anything with the email.... go to your paypal account through a NEW browser window and make sure it's not a spoof email that's used to access your account.
