i have been diagnosed with:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Attention Defecet Disorder

Social Anxiety Disorder

I think its rediculase, i know i have issues, but there has to be a limit to how many pills you can put in your body.

does anyone have any suggestions for ways to help get over these issues without having to come to dealing with so many medications?!

Personaly i think asking a bunch of people online is more likely to help then all those ******* doctors, all there interested in is there pills, i want suggestions of alternative ways to get over the issues i mentioned earlier, seriously im pretty much open for any variety of suggestions, im starting college soon, i need to get over this ****...

  1. These are nutritional deficiencies and emotional problems NEVER physical illnesses. The real disease is what doctors have and it's called IHMCPCU {I have a Mercedes  car payment coming up}!

  2. see a pedeatrition. I have ADD. I firstly used RITALIN, then moved to the long release CONCERTA then i moved up my mg of CONCERTA and up and up and now am 56MG.. bad case. see a pedeatrition to get perscribed

  3. Don't just go to someone who just is one to just give pills. A therapist is someone who can talk you through this and a phyciatrist issues meds. You have to come to grips with this issue. If ADD didn't affect you in school much I don't know why it would bother you now. OCD can mimic ADD-so I think if you deal with your OCD with an antidepressant like PAXIL you could be helping the SAD. OCD doesn't go away and left untreated can become a nightmare. I'm not someone to rush to meds but my daughter has OCD and in her case-the therapist recommends meds-and I think she needs it. The therapist does CBT and she said that the children who do therapy and take meds have a dramatic life change. They don't always need meds forever.

  4. just because the doctor have given so many labels doesn't mean that u have to take as many pills. The condition s u have listed are closely related and can be tackled with no more than a couple of pills. U can live without treatment but wouldn't be able to enjoy life or get as much from your studies then what u can achieve with proper treatment. Cmon getting a life for a couple of pills is not a bad bargain.  For OCD i will suggest that u supplement ur medication with CBT (a form of psychotherapy) and see the wonderful results in your life.
