OCR ICT Functional Skills?

Has anybody had experience of delivering the OCR Functional Skills award? Just wondered what peoples initial thoughts were on the award itself, ease of delivery that sort of thing.

It's a nightmare because the students do not want to do it. They think their time would be better spent on 'proper' studies.

I have taught the same group two different subjects. They are a really bright good group for their main subject but turn into animals for key/functional skills.

But it has honed my classroom management skills.
