i had a dream that there was a flood and there was a black and white dog (fully dressed) floating on a box outside my window. So i decided to call it in and take care of it, and turns out, the water wasnt that deep, so it tried to jump in my window, but insted it went to my front door, so i went around the front and tried to let it in, but while it was coming in, a blue poodle tried to follow it in, and i didnt let the poodle in, i let the black and white dog in like i was supposed to. And that was it. What does that mean?

  1. It means you where a sleep.

  2. I've noticed in dreams, sometimes dogs represent either tradition or learning something new (or not learning something new!)  Have you ever heard the saying, "You can't teach an old dog new tricks"?  Well, that is why a dog might represent a tradition, because a tradition is a belief or practice that has been around awhile.  Sometimes, that is good, and sometimes that is not good.  It depends on the tradition.

What I see here is that as time goes by (water passing your window) you have seen a belief or tradition or belief that you like and have decided to let it into your life.   You didn't have to sneak it in your bedroom window, because it is a good thing, not something to be ashamed of or to hide.   So, the black and white dog is a good belief or tradition that is true and will help you build a good life.  The blue poodle, however, is kind of weird and just not natural.  It's something you need to avoid, and you realize it and shut it out.  I'm proud of you!

As you seek for truth to guide your life, some things ARE "black and white," which means they are TRUTH and there is nothing there to harm you.  But some things are "not natural" or "off color" and they are not good for you.

The Bible is one of those things that is "black and white," true black words on white pages, and in them you will find guidance for your life.  Start to read it every day.  Before you read, ask God to give you understanding and bring His words to your mind to give you the guidance you crave.

The blue poodle, which is rather silly, is things like horoscopes, tarot cards and other traditions made by people to confuse you and lead you down the wrong path.  They usually make very little sense, and the worst thing about them is they keep your mind off the REAL truths that can lead you into LIFE and set you free from things that will hurt you.

If you really want some wisdom for life, read Proverbs in the Bible.  You can read one or two a day, and think about situations in your life and people you know that fit with the proverb and make sense.  If you are confused about what a proverb means, ask me, and I'll help you if I can.  Here is a link to the Bible, and the book of Proverbs online!
