OEM vs. Aftermarket?

Which is better: O.E.M. or aftermarket?

Personally, I think you get more variety and flexibility with aftermarket, but you lose the clean, factory-installed look. Some cars just don't lend themselves to aftermarket systems. You can really improve the sound by switchinging factory speakers with high quality aftermarker replacements and possibly adding an amp and subwoofer.  Check our www.crutchfield.com.

it is all rubish O.E.M and aftermaket are the same but aftermarket is better because you can add upgrades and better parts eg your O.E.M stereo in your car wont have as many features as a aftermarket one because they try and make as much money as possible and when you buy your car they only give you the real basics unless your ready to crack out the big $$$

They are generally the same. There are some cheap parts out there for cars that will break easily, and you will find most of those on E-bay, but if you go to any reputable mechanic or auto parts store the aftermarket parts will be the same quality if not better, and it will save you tons of money.
