Reports in France suggest that Ligue 1 side, OGC Nice are looking to sign Argentine striker Mauro Boselli from English Premier League side Wigan Athletic.

Reports now suggest that the Nice direction is looking to sign another Argentine, Mauro Boselli from Wigan Athletic on a permanent deal. Rumours suggest that the representatives of Nice have already contacted the player’s agent although a concrete offer is yet to be submitted.
Mauro Boselli signed for Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2010 from Argentine Apertura side Estudiantes. The South American signed with the Latics on a four-year deal for a fee believed to be in the region of 6.5 million Euros. However, the Argentine saw a torrid time in the English Premier League and never really settled down. After playing just eight games and scoring not a single goal, he was loaned out to Serie A side Genoa. Things never worked out for the Argentine at the Liguria-based club and he scored just two goals in seven appearances for Il Grifone.
