  1. come on.  just relax.  it's not that big of a deal.  if you do well then that's great, and if you don't then maybe you just had a bad race.

  2. to start things off, relax. Its not the end of the world if you dont do good in your race... your times are good. I dont know how you'll do at regionals cuz i dont know what division you are in. You are only a freshmen so if you dont do good, you still have 3 more years to do better. The best way to calm down, is to just not worry about it, and to just accept the win or the loss and learn from your mistakes. I ran my regionals yesterday (saturday) and trust me, i was nervous. I ran the 4X8 and i didnt want to let my relay team down, but you just have to go out, and run your best. Dont over think your race, just go out and run your hardest, and if it wasnt good enough, who cares.. you have 3 more years ahead of you. With that 200 time you should be able to get under 8th place. You were probably at the same regionals meet as me lol

  3. Hey, first of all relax. I have lots of track friends and I tell them this. RELAX. No body can perform up to their potiential if they are nervous. Your times aren't that bad. You jsut have to rlax. Start believing in yourself. ONe of my Guys friends Justin Gaymon is at SEC's right now. He has the fastest time in the nation in the 400 hurdles. and the third fastest in the 400m. He gets nervous too. It's natural but you have to overcome that. Just keep telling yourself that you can do this. That you can place in the top 8 if not better. When you're doing the relays, just try to relax. Run as fast as you can. Passing off just maintain eye contact and make sure its in the hand. I have to go. ttyl. and good luck. make us proud
