So who is going to the WEBN FireWorks on Sunday

I used to do volunteer work for the park board via the Ham Co EMA and attended many riverfests, that was until it started to get too large and too dangerous for volunteers!

I have viewed the fireworks from a boat on the river, from the top of 1 Lytle Place, the Serpentine Wall, I enjoyed the roof of 1 Lytle the best.

I went several years. I drove a cab and I could get close.  I'll watch it from home, on my hi-def TV and the stereo turned up more than usual. It's comfortable and convenient.

I used to tape it, but I never watched the tape.

Enjoy yourself; you reach a point where it is not worth the effort.

Not me.  I'd kind of like to, but not enough to actually go.  I say that for two reasons- first, the crowd is just insane with 400,000 or so people there, and I dont like fighting crowds.  And the second reason is because I have a 2 year old son.  Trying to manage him in the crowd would be a nightmare, plus the fireworks are past his bedtime, so he'd be all cry-e and whiny, so that would suck :)  Should be awesome for you though :)

I went a few years ago.  It is definitely worth going to at least once.  My friend won a raffle at his company and the prize was a weekend stay at the Marriott Hotel by the Ohio River.  A bunch of us went to hang-out at the room and then went down once the fireworks started.

I also do not like places where there are lots of people and it would take a long time to drive back to West Chester after the fireworks are over and I also have to work the next day.  First workday of the month is always busiest for me so I try to go to bed early.
