OIL OIL AND OIL. Can anyone tell how much oil we have used uptil now.?

It is estimated that millions of gallons of OIL is required/consumed by us (the whole world) daily. And it is also estimated that the demand/requirement is on the increase day by day.

From these approximate statistics how much OIL we must have digged since the begining.

How much of it may be left over may not be known exactly. But we sure know that if we consume OIL like this we will not be able to retain that source more than a couple of decades from now. Now for the querry -

If such an extent of natural resource is drawn from the EARTH what are its implications - geographical implications.

so far there is no awareness for "saving of oil & other natural resources" among us. Mis-utilisation of vehicles and non-maintainence increases consumption 5-7%.If each person maintain a record and control over the consumption of oil and electricity we can reduces the crises:

i will tell you this, but i don't specifically know how much oil WE USE, but i do know how much oil we OWE to China. 3,800,000,000 gallons i think. but this was only since May, of this year.
