  1. I also babysit two children under the age of 5 and I am a stay at home mom...I charge her $2 and hour for each child, I know it my not seem like much but I also did not want to be greedy and I knew what daycare charged...A mom wants to feel that her children are being taken care of as she would, use your judgment!

  2. Personally if you like her and trust her what I would do is ask that she babysit for you occasionally and call it even.

If that's impossible or you don't like the idea of this particular person babysitting, it's going to really depend on where you live (general area and specific neighborhood).  Where I live 20 hours of babysitting would be at least $200.  There are certainly neighborhoods where it would be a lot less, though.  I'd probably ask for whatever you'd pay per hour for babysitting but discount by 1/4-1/2 because it's so long that it might otherwise be unaffordable.   Especially since it sounds like you'll be paying for breakfast and lunch; otherwise, you're losing money, time, and sanity on the deal....

  3. It's very subjective questions, unless you also provide the area where you live.  Some area, like NY is much higher, perhaps $20-25/hour, but some place could be $10-$15/hour.  Besides, if you are watching other people kids, make sure that your insurance cover if they get hurt.

  4. That's a lot of time to watch little ones, especially so early in the morning.  I would say at least $40-50 per day, so around $80-$100 for the two days.  It also depends on the going rate in your area for child care, each place is different.  I'm sure it's hard for her to find a babysitter for the weekend.  Good luck.

  5. twenty five dollars each day

  6. I know my one friends babysitter charges her $100 a week for one kid shes 3, but she also watches her like 5 days a week when she is working about the same amount of hours. I would think 25-50 per day per kid would be sufficient
