If yes, where do you see him finishing..................................

One side note, don't make plans to watch the race Saturday night as scheduled; the weather forecast is horrible but Sunday looks really good!!

P.S. Try not to hate on this kid too bad, lets not forget, he just turned 18 and I think we all remember that we used to be 18 years old before!

Thanks

  1. He'll qualify. And most likely finish inside the top 20. Probably around 17th or so.

I don't hate the boy, just his nickname.

The jury's still out on whether I'll be a fan or not.

  2. I think he will definitely qualify. Don't know how he'll do in the race....it's too hard to tell. He may surprise everyone and get a great finish...then again he may not. It will be a great story either way.

Not bashing him....think it's great an 18 yr old has come that far in his career....just hope he's mature enough to handle the fame.

  3. yea he'll make it. i think he could finish top 15

  4. I see him qualifying in the 20s.

  5. I think the kid will do all right.  This is a good time to get him some seat time in Cup.  If he doesn't wreck (or get wrecked), I think he'lll finish in the top 10...but that is a big IF.  I see many wrecks ahead........

  6. ----i like him but I do not think he is ready to race in cup.  That’s ok he’ll do well he just needs to stay calm and out of trouble.  I saw an interview with him for 15 minutes the other day.  Hes a nice kid, very competitive.  he cant even count all his trophies hes won.  great pair of parents to. very supportive.

----i see him finishing 14th in the race if all goes well and I see him qualifying real well probably starting 2nd, 3rd, 4th or fifth.  I wish him the best of luck.  He must be real nervous now getting ready for Richmond.

  7. He should qualify in the 15 to 20 range if he gets the opportunity.  The kid has talent in spades but it will be hard for him to channel it and stay focused at Richmond.  I just hope that JD and Joe have made him aware of how important this last race before the chase is, especially to the bubble drivers.  Hopefully he can run some laps and gain experience without impacting the results.  If he can just go in there with the mindset to do that he should finish in the 25-35 range.  This is going to be a much bigger leap than what he realizes and the "trash" in the back of a cup race is much different than a Nationwide race.
