OK, So I live in Aus, and want to travel to America. How long does it take aprox to get a passport and visa?

Is there anybody who can empathise or have some sorce that I may use to find out, It would be greatly apreciated, thank you.

  1. Go here - http://www.usembassy.gov/

    and find what part the embassy webpage that applies to where in Australia you live in. Then click on "Visas to the US" at the top and read the instructions.


  2. Australian citizens do not need a visa to visit the USA as a tourist for up to 90 days:

    Sorry, but I don't know how long it takes to get an Australian passport.

  3. In the U.S. it costs 50-100 dollars as well as a six-week waiting period while the government performs a background check.

    There's an express service if you pay more.

    Australia is most likely similar. Here, you can get the stuff you'll need from a local post office.
