  1. Well, it's up to you, but exercise caution, I found a website that says to eat only small amounts of food such as tempeh, miso and natto, so I guess that would mean it's safe for consumption, but because it's fermented, you'd have to only have a little bit of it...

  2. natto- they should be fine. When they are processed i think they stop the fermentation process. I dont know why u want to eat that its so smelly!!!! hehe but in my opinion its fine... then again i'm no doctor!

  3. I am former chef and there is no more risk with Natto than with cheese, yougart, buttermilk or dried raw meats like prosciutto.

I eat it on a weekly basis, and I am diabetic and have arthritis, but if unsure check with your OBGYN for more deals, salt is the only thing that can be a problem with the miso, tempeh and natto the second girl was concerned about, but it is a good source of protein, I still eat it the way I was introduced to it when I worked in Japan,in the 1980's as a topping to hot rice, not at breakfast anymore or with a raw egg, but soya, seaweed seasoning and a few Bonito shavings (I buy individual packages here in Canada), love my natto that way.
