OK, I was reading the chapter "The Prince's Tale" in HP no. 7 the other day, and came up on NUMEROUS occasions in which he made his feelings perfectly obvious. Didn't Lily EVER cotton on? Or did she know eventually and just never say anything? OR did she ever feel the same way? I think if she never noticed how he felt about her, she was kind of a clueless airhead, wasn't she? I mean, he was making it SO obvious! Aargh, it annoys me. And yeah, I know it's not real, things like this just annoy me:)

  1. They were meant to be best friends. Lily probably thought nothing of it.

  2. Maybe you are young =] All of my friends are males [as I kind of don't get along with females somehow], and I know what it feels like if your friends starts to like you. We just tend to label people in our heads, and when we put a clear label of friend to anyone, it is hard when that person seems to want to ruin it all with romance.

Of course Lilly noticed that Snape liked her. Just like any of us, she chose to ignore it hoping that it will pass away.

  3. In No 7

She knew. But attraction is what it is. She liked him as a friend.
