I feel totally dumb by asking this question, but I really don't know the answer, soooo.

You know when you get a spindle of 50 or 100 blank CD's and they have these little round spacer like things on the top when you open them up? They put maybe 5 or more in the container, and they are small, round pieces of plastic? Well, exactly what are they, and what are thy used for? Sorry, but I just had to ask. Obviously, I am a bit technically 'challenged' , LOL!

Thanks!!!

  1. to protect the Cd's, most likely.

as long as you don't insert them into the computer, you are fine.

They don't have anything to do with using the Cd's. Just to protect them, I'd say.

    Its not a dumb question.

It would be dumb if you asked how to get them out of you computer...

    :)

  2. Who knows. So they don't get scratched if it comes open...or spacers or something.
