Is it wrong for me to want the Giants to tank the season so that they have one of the top draft picks?

I mean the way I see it, if we end up with a top-10 pick, and then you factor in the picks we're gonna get from the Saints, we could theoretically fix alot of the problems we've had. Mainly that attrocious secondary. Aaron Ross and Kenny Phillips were a good start, but we still need help. Not to mention it's never too early to draft the heir apparent to Antonio Pierce's MLB spot.

  1. But by blowing it, next year you'll have a top draft pick but also by that time Osi will be healthy and ready to play so there would be no point in throwing the season away, their defense is stacked anyways I'm sure they'll find a suitable DE

  2. the giants still have a good team, i doubt theyll win it all but well see them in the playoffs without osi...strahan is washed up anyway and needs to stay out.  The thing to do is work on some trades, draft picks arent always the answer.

  3. Tuck needs to step up and the Giants need to make a trade

  4. dude dude.... tank the season? chilllll... they are the defending super bowl champs!! how bad would it look for them 2 be the defending champs and then go 3-13 and get a high pick... thatd b terrible.....

and they wont tank the season anyway... cuz i mean kiwinuka can step in and play DE, but they will be alittle weaker at LB... BUt keep in mind that Eli is playng great in the preseason and came off an AMAZING playoffs, so i think the giant offense will carry them... especially if brandon jacobs dioesnt miss any time...like he did last year, bradshaw, jacobs, eli, burress, toomer, steve smith, manningham... now thats an explosive offense! plus the line is Extremely solid.... they will be 11-5 ....and make the playoffs, and who knows.... maybe shock the world again and REPEAT!

  5. I don't think you have want them to tank this season. Its going to happen that way anyways. Their team was based off of strong defensive play. The defense  was based off a good pass rush. With out that looks as if the G-Men will slip to mediocrity.

  6. defense will be fine..relax...danny clark (the irrelevant scrub you talk about) is a good weak side but they moved him to strong side which was retarded...wilkinson sucks ***, kehl will be starter by week 5. theyre gunna go around 8-8 this year get a top 15 and draft lauranitas, cushing or maleuga

  7. No one thought they would win the Sb last year, so you never know.

  8. The Giants will be OK at Defensive End.  They are moving Kiwanuka back to DE, a position he thrived at for 9 games as a starter.  He's no Osi, but he'll do okay. But Justin Tuck can prepare for a lot of double teams.  The secondary has some rising stars in Phillips, Ross, and Corey Webster. They'll be fine there as well.

  9. the giants still have a good offense they could end up 500 or 9 and 7

  10. I don't see how the Giants can tank the season, totally.

HOW can they possibly perform worst than:

ATL, KC, MIAMI, NYJets, OAK, St. Louis, CIN

The best scenario is for them to win as many games as possible, and draft new fresh defensive talent in what will be a defense rich draft. They'll get that second tier of player who isn't demanding first round money.

  11. you want the defending Super Bowl Champions (your favorite team) to tank the season

yeah.....there's definitely something wrong with that

and please........if you're going to have a picture of yourself up, put a shirt on

    nobody is impressed

and no e-chicks are going to want to meet you and make babies

  12. Yes its very wrong, lol,  Have faith, I do. The Giants will win the Super Bowl again!

  13. Oh See Human Urine being out for the season and Strahan retiring gives the G men the excuse they need to go 0-16 and still claim Manning has "turned the corner."

  14. I think they are a bottom level team without "tanking the season".  The Giants will be last in the Division and out of the playoffs.

I lost money on the Giant win in the SB but now they will be over bet and should benefit those players who pay attention.

  15. id think anyteam should do that last year they werent predicted and look they won you never kno in football keep your hopes up

  16. NOOOOOOOO! Don't give up on the season! The Giants will still have a great season. They still have two great passrushers, especially Tuck who had the best Super Bowl of any Giant last year, and probably should have been MVP. Losing Osi hurts big time, but the reast of the team has improved. I don't think the linebackers will be affected that much. Kiwanuka played linbacker last season, but his season ended in October, so he didn't help down the stretch anyway. Kamika (sp?) Mitchell is gone, and that is a loss, but I think the linebackers will be find.

The Giants have a vastly underrated offensive line, two good running backs in Jacobs and Bradshaw, and a young an improving secondary. Do not tank this season.
