OK, what is for dinner on New Year's Day?

I am taking my date for Lobster and Steak. Are you guys eating out, at home, someone else's house, or will you be too hungover to think about food? LOL

  3. Ever since I was a child my mom made Black Eyed Peas for a New Years Day meal.  She said they brought good luck in the upcoming year and would make me eat at least one per year I was old which is no longer a problem as i have grown to love them.  my family eats...

    a homemad ham

    cornbread

    greens (broccoli, asparagus, etc.)

    cheese grits

    black eyed peas

    and a small salad

    Since I don't eat any of that, I'll sneak out for fast food while the hubby and kids eat all the good luck and good fortune food, then I let their good stuff rub off on me through the year!

  11. ah..we are doing that massive party sub from subway, drinks, chips, dips, alcohol and party games, movies and just hanging out at the house. .People coming and going all day.
